Some friends of mine lost their jobs today. After months of hard and dedicated efforts, they were laid off by someone who had no idea what their jobs were, and told to leave immediately with no notice. They were then followed and escorted out of the building. The company they worked for has a policy, that any person who is randomly and irrationally deemed 'no longer useful', is obliterated on the spot.
Does one lose their integrity if they participate in this process, and/or continue to be passionate about working for said company?
